HQCA FAILS TO CONFRONT STELMACH GOVERNMENT & CPSA

The Health Quality Council of Alberta:

2. HQCA has had copies of Dr. Anderson's three Documents for their study for over one year & refuses to make any comment on its contents:

- "Addendum to the Anderson Journal on the Hon. Dave Hancock".
3. Cowell-Tyrrell-Anderson Meeting September 30, 2010.
During this meeting Dr. L. Tyrrell and Dr. D. Anderson (Dr. J. Cowell had to leave early) agreed that many Albertans believe that the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta protect its member medical doctors at the expense of protecting the public. After the meeting Dr. Anderson lent his private files on the CPSA to Dr. Tyrrell for his study. These files showed in detail a totally flawed and incompetent investigation of patient complaints by the medical staff employees of the CPSA in which lies were submitted to justify the closing of the patient complaint file. These files have not been returned to
Dr. Anderson despite repeated requests to Dr. Tyrrell by Dr. Anderson.
4. Dr. J. Cowell & Dr. L. Tyrrell refuse to meet with Dr. D. Anderson to discuss necessary reforms in the Investigative Process & the Appeal Process used by the College in addressing patient complaints.
5. Dr. J. Cowell has informed Dr. D. Anderson that the HQCA will no longer correspond with him.
An HQCA "REVIEW" behind CLOSED DOORS will protect the following individuals from public exposure of their negligence for failing to address breaches in the quality of Health Care for Albertans:

The only way to ADDRESS SERIOUS PROBLEMS confronting health care for Albertans is through a PUBLIC JUDICIAL INQUIRY, not by a "review" conducted by a mistrusted HQCA behind
closed doors.
