DISGRACED PREMIER REDFORD - CLUELESS FOR GOVERNING ALBERTA HEALTH CARE

BIG SHIP AHC ENTERS DEEPER FOG BANK
(A Parody on Alberta Health Care)
On the bridge of this Big Ship AHC "Hon? Captain" Redford & First Mate "Hon.?" Horne are even more dumbfounded with their loss of control of AHC as it enters an even thicker Fog Bank with its rudder still broken.
To complicate their agony is the disarray in the engine room - their original First Engineer, Dr. Chris Eagle resigned after a dispute with Horne. Dr. Eagle was replaced by First Engineer Duncan Campbell who unfortunately after a very brief period was fired by Redford & Horne following a disagreement.
The Bridge and Engine Room were now in total disarray. With great haste Redford & Horne found two interim Engineers to try and run the engines smoothly until a fully qualified engineer can be found.
It is obvious that Big Ship AHC requires a new Captain and new First Mate who know how to fix the rudder & navigate this ship out of the fog and deliver this ship to a clearly defined destination.
CHAOS IN ALBERTA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM
Premier Redford has caused great disruption in the smooth running of the Alberta Health Care System which include the following:
- constant interference with the independence of the Alberta Health Services
- constant restructuring
- changing titles & positions
- firing boards
- hiring executives & then firing them
It is no wonder that the Alberta Health Care System is in a state of chaos.

In her Throne Speech (May 24, 2012) she states: "YOUR GOVERNMENT WILL PROMOTE TRUSTWORTHY LEADERSHIP THAT GENUINELY TAKES ALBERTANS TO HEART, AND ESTABLISHES OPENNESS AND TRANSPARENCY AS GUIDING PRINCIPLES. ALBERTANS WILL BE ABLE TO SEE WITH DEPTH AND CLARITY HOW GOVERNMENT WORKS FOR THEM".
Amazing! During the past 5 years Alison Redford has refused to acknowledge receipt of numerous Registered Letters from Albertans concerning Patient Neglect, Needless Suffering and Risk of Patient Death and refuses to communicate to this day!

ALISON REDFORD IS INCOMPETENT IN PREVENTING & OVERSEEING FIASCOS IN ALBERTA HEATH CARE
Three recent fiascos that Alison Redford completely mismanaged were:
1. Firing the Board of AHS: She fired all ten board members of the Alberta Health Services in
June 2013 and broke several legal contracts which created an expensive legal mess to be paid by Albertans.
2. Firing Vice-Presidents of AHS: In September 2013 she authorized a major health authority executive "shakeup" by firing five top executives (who leave with a shared $2.1 million in severance) which throws the entire health management structure into disarray.
3. Dismissal of Dr. Chris Eagle: On October 17, 2013 she caused the resignation of Dr. Chris Eagle, CEO of Alberta Health Services.
It is no wonder that Alberta Health Care is in a state of turmoil.

Promises are very important. Girl Guides and Boy Scouts honor promises.
To break promises made in your Throne Speech is an insult to all Albertans and to
our Head of State, Queen Elizabeth.
Albertans are very serious about honoring promises.
4. HONOR COMMUNICATION WITH ALBERTANS
One of the pillars of democracy is communication between the leaders and those who selected the leaders to govern. Stonewalling is the antithesis of communication & democracy.
You have stonewalled Douglas L. Anderson, MD., FRCS(C) for over 5 years.
This has caused great cost to him in time, money and stress.
Alison Redford is guilty of, personal & deliberate, prolonged & cruel abuse of an Alberta Medical Doctor - shameful behavior!

Unfortunately, Big Ship AHC has entered thicker fog and its rudder is still broken. "Hon? Captain" Redford and First Mate "Hon?" Horne are dumbfounded.
Compounding their problems, their First Class Engineer, in charge of the smooth running of the engines, (Dr. Chris Eagle) has quit because of a dispute with First Mate Horne. Getting out of the fog is now much more difficult. The ship's crew is in disarray.
Who can help Big Ship AHC get out of the fog?
Who can help repair the rudder?
"Hon? Captain" Redford watches yet another bungle by her First Mate Horne. Alison Redford watches her Health Minister Horne, clash with Dr. Chris Eagle and she accepts Dr. Eagle's resignation.
