The following letter was sent to Dr. Anderson by Dr. P. White dated Aug. 18, 2011:

" I am replying in response to your letters dated July 27, August 3 and August 15. Respectfully, the answer I provided in my last letter to you on July 21 still applies: THE ALBERTA MEDICAL ASSOCIATION DOES NOT HAVE A MANDATE TO FOLLOW UP ON YOUR REQUEST.  Once again I am returning your correspondence".


Dr. Anderson's letter to Dr. White dated August 15, 2011 follows:

" You have not replied to my Registered letter sent to you dated Aug. 3, 2011 (copy enclosed).
Please find enclosed a copy of my letter dated June 27/11 in which I enclosed TEN BLOG POSTINGS  which show clearly the willful obstruction  by the Health Quality Council of Alberta (HQCA) to revealing the WRONGDOING  of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).   Http://medics-fail-to-self-regulate.blogspot.com  
In your only letter to me dated July 21/11 (copy enclosed) you have made no mention of HQCA and returned to me the 
TEN BLOG POSTINGS ON HQCA with your words "The AMA does not have the mandate to follow upon up on your request"  -  WHY?

2. ' Patients First - Reg. Trade Mark - compels the AMA to advocate VALUE FOR PATIENTS - Reg. Trade Mark - expresses a 365-day-a-year commitment to pursue and support ideas and initiatives that provide real value for our patients'
IS AMA FULFILLING THIS COMMITMENT TO DR. D. ANDERSON?
3.' The AMA makes every effort to ensure physicians are involved in the health care decision-making and their voices are heard - by government, Alberta Health Services, other health care professions and the public.
Communication is a priority internally with members as well as externally with governments and the public".
IS AMA FULFILLING THIS COMMITMENT TO DR. D. ANDERSON?


The AMA has returned to Dr. Anderson his Ten Blog Postings, without comment!  These postings show, an assault to the Alberta Health Care System by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta and the Health Quality Council of Alberta.  The AMA refuses to make any comment on this assault - why?
Would you kindly rectify the AMA's above commitment to members and all Albertans and at the same time its refusal to comment on Dr. Anderson's TEN BLOG POSTINGS ON HQCA, which show in detail unacceptable wrongdoing within the Alberta Health Care System".




AMA staff has informed Dr. Anderson that the AMA does not have " A  MANDATE  " and that the principles that guide AMA CONDUCT are contained in Mission / Vision / Role  on the
AMA Website (www.albertadoctors.org) under  " Inside AMA - Who We Are".

These principles are detailed by commitments that AMA has made to its Medical Doctor Members as well as commitments  to all Albertans.

If Dr. Patrick White is unwilling to clarify the AMA's stand on this serious problem of wrongdoing by medics within the Alberta Health Care System, then Albertans will consult with the 28 Medical Sectional Heads of the AMA in the near future, to obtain further medical opinions on this assault.

HON. GENE ZWAZDESKY - MINISTER OF HEALTH & WELLNESS
continues to stonewall Albertans on their Health Care by refusing to acknowledge receipt of Registered Letters ( May 28/11, June 29/11, July 7/11), concerning wrongdoing of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta and the Wrongdoing of the Health Quality Council of Alberta.
