HON. M. SCHMIDT & SURGEON ANDERSON CHALLENGE SENIORS IN EDMONTON
The game is badminton at South East Edmonton Seniors Association (SEESA) -Hon. Marlin Schmidt and Surgeon Douglas Anderson played against two senior citizens on Dec. 9, 2016, and lost
"by a hair".
Subsequently, Hon Schmidt contacted Hon. L. Sigurdson concerning wrongdoing by authorities in the Health Care System of Alberta.
WHAT ACTION HAS HON. SCHMIDT TAKEN AGAINST WRONGDOING?
On Dec. 14, 2016, Constituency Assistant to MLA Hon. M. Schmidt, Katy Campbell emailed the following to Surgeon Anderson:
"Thank you for getting in touch with us. I know Minister Schmidt enjoyed the game. I called my counterpart at the Edmonton-Riverview constituency office to enquire as to the status of your file there, and it sounds like they are actively working to keep up to date on developments as they come in. The caseworker there, Bo Zhang, has just requested another update form the Health Ministry. I would suggest getting in contact with him for further information. You can reach him by email at bo.zhang@assembly.ab.ca Kind Regards. Katy Campbell"
This email was in response to an email sent to Hon. M. Schmidt from Surgeon Anderson dated
Dec. 9, 2016 as follows:
" Surgeon Douglas Anderson enjoyed you to be my team mate. We played vigorously, but "lost by a thread!
You were a very good sport - having not played badminton for many years.
Unfortunately, we have not won - addressing the wrongdoing of the Health Care Authorities of Alberta.
Could you please address Blog Posting of July 13, 2016? "
QUESTIONS CONCERNING THESE EMAIL EXCHANGES
1. Surgeon Anderson has asked Hon. M. Schmidt if he could please address the Blog Posting of July 13, 2016. Hon. Schmidt evades this request.
2. There are apparently "developments" in exchanges between Hon. Sigurdson and the Department of Health. Why has Hon. Sigurdson and the Department of Health not seen fit to inform Surgeon Anderson about these "developments"? .
HONOURABLE SIGURDSON CONTINUES TO STONEWALL SURGEON ANDERSON
Hon. Sigurdson has extended her stonewalling of Surgeon Anderson to almost 6 months.
When will MLA Hon. Lori Sigurdson show her honour & basic courtesy by commencing to communicate with her constituent, Surgeon Douglas Anderson?
