TWO PREMIERS OF ALBERTA ABUSE RETIRED MEDICAL DOCTOR
Hon. Edward Stelmach and Hon. Alison Redford, past and present premiers of Alberta, have abused
Douglas L. Anderson, MD., FRCS(C).
Details of this abuse are outlined below.

EDWARD MICHAEL STELMACH
(Premier of Alberta 2006 - 2011)
This premier received numerous Registered Letters (Dec. 3/07 - Sept. 17/08) from Douglas L. Anderson, MD., FRCS(C) concerning Patient Neglect and Needless Suffering and Risk of Patient Death. These letters requested answers to important questions.
Edward Stelmach did not have the courtesy to acknowledge receipt of these letters and did not address any of the issues raised by Dr. D. Anderson.
The issues were:
1. Hon. Dave Hancock (Minister of Health): This minister refused to acknowledge receipt of numerous Registered Letters from Dr. D. Anderson concerning Patient Neglect & Needless Suffering & Risk of Patient Death. Details were given on a breakdown of Self-Regulation by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). Evidence shows that this College protects its medical doctors at the expense of protecting the public. This neglect by Minister Hancock was detailed to Premier Stelmach but received no response from Premier Stelmach!
Premier Stelmach refused to address the breakdown of Self-Regulation of the CPSA - Why?
2. Hon. Ron Liepert (Minister of Health): This minister refused to acknowledge receipt of numerous Registered Letters sent to him by Dr. D. Anderson concerning Patient Neglect & Needless Suffering & Risk of Patient Death. Ron Leipert has never made any contact with Dr. D. Anderson. His appalling behavior was detailed to Premier Stelmach by Dr. D. Anderson. Premier Stelmach refused to contact Dr. D. Anderson for clarification!
3. Hon. Ron Stevens (Minister of Justice): This minister refused to acknowledge receipt of numerous Registered Letters sent to him by Dr. D. Anderson concerning Patient Neglect & Needless Suffering & Risk of Patient Death. Although requested, Ron Stevens has never made any contact with
Dr. D. Anderson to clarify his stand on this serious problem - Why!
This appalling behavior was detailed to Premier Stelmach by Dr. D. Anderson. Premier Stelmach refused to contact Dr. D. Anderson for clarification!
4. Hon. Alison Redford (Minister of Justice): This minister dismissed Dr. Anderson in her letter of
July 29, 2008 in which she stated - "I am not in a position to assist you further". She has refused to communicate with Dr. D. Anderson since that date. All details of Alison Redford's refusal to communicate with Dr. D. Anderson have been sent to Premier Stelmach by Registered Mail but unfortunately without a response from him.
Dr. D. Anderson has incurred considerable expenses in the production & mailing of these Registered Letters and requires compensation from Edward Stelmach for Dr. D. Anderson's anxiety and resulting expenses.
Would Edward Stelmach please explain to Albertans why he refused to address this wrongdoing by his ministers?
Did Edward Stelmach demonstrate to Albertans - RESPONSIBLE, ACCOUNTABLE &
VISIBLE GOVERNMENT?
Albertans await answers from Edward Stelmach.
ALISON MERRILLA REDFORD
(Premier of Alberta 20012 - )
This premier has received numerous Registered Letters from Sept. 2008 to the present from
Dr. D. Anderson during three periods of her political career:
1. Justice Minister in the Stelmach Government.
2. Candidate for leadership of the PC PARTY of Alberta.
3. Premier of Alberta.
All of these letters were concerning Patient Neglect & Needless Suffering & Risk of Patient Death.
Alison Redford has not had the courtesy to acknowledge receipt of any of these letters!
The issues raised by Dr. D. Anderson were the same as those detailed above for Edward Stelmach with the addition of wrongdoing by:
Hon. Gene Zwozdesky, Hon. Fred Horne, Hon. Verlny Olson and Hon. Jonathan Denis
Alison Redford has hidden wrongdoing in Health Care by herself and all of the above named ministers in her cabinet.
When will Alison Redford become accountable?
Dr. D. Anderson has incurred considerable expense in "confronting" premiers Stelmach & Redford and insists on compensation for his anxiety and expenses, preferably without legal action.
WRONGDOING BY PREMIERS
At no time did either premier suggest a meeting with Dr. D. Anderson to discuss his concerns with
Health Care in Alberta.
Albertans find it amazing that both Edward Stelmach & Alison Redford find it necessary to abuse a retired medical doctor. Why do these premiers refuse to communicate with Albertans on wrongdoing by Health Care Authorities within the Health Care System of Alberta?
Albertans are appalled that Premiers Stelmach & Redford hide from proven wrongdoing by their governments and refuse to communicate with Albertans.
Albertans await responses from Edward Stelmach and Alison Redford.
