                          WITHIN THE ALBERTA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM


Contact between Dr. Douglas L. Anderson and the Editor-in-Chief, Lucinda Chodan of the Edmonton Journal (newspaper) follows with Dr. Anderson's email to L. Chodan:


"Thank you for acknowledging by your email dated Sept. 23/11 receipt of my Registered Letter to you dated Sept. 22/11 in which you state 'I received your letter this morning: thanks for sending it to me - Sincerely, Lucinda Chodan'
I am disappointed that you provided me with no comment on the contents on my letter to you of Sept. 22 which states 'Dear Editor-in-Chief - Please find enclosed a copy of my letter to Ms. Jodie Sinnema dated Sept. 9/11: a copy of my letter to Mr. Gary Mar dated Sept. 22/11; a copy of my Blog Posting - 'Horner-Mar-Redford: Fail Albertans'.  It is important that the three Premier-Elect candidates - Doug Horner, Gary Mar and Alison Redford- address proven wrongdoing by Senior Medical Doctors within the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta and the Health Quality Council of Alberta as well as proven wrongdoing by three Ministers of Health & Wellness in the Stelmach Cabinet, before the next Premier of Alberta is 'Crowned' on October 1, 2011'
I did not receive a reply from Ms. Sinnema.  I consider it urgent that you reply as soon as possible'

The following is my letter to Alison Redford dated Sept. 26/11 which states - 'Dear Ms. Redford - I am disappointed that you have refused to acknowledge receipt of my multiple Registered Letters sent to you since the beginning of your campaign to win the leadership of the P.C. Party of Alberta.
'NEWSROOM' on your Web Site (www.alisonredford.ca) on Sept. 25/11 posted the following 'AN INDEPENDENT HEALTH QUALITY COUNCIL FOR ALBERTANS' - (copy enclosed).
In this posting you state 'Currently, the Health Quality Council reports directly to the Minister of Health ....THIS DOES NOT PROTECT ALBERTANS ...'

July 15/11: 'CANDIDATE REDFORD ACCEPTS WRONGDOING'; Sept. 21/11: 'HORNER-MAR-REDFORD: FAIL ALBERTANS'. Http://medics-fail-to-self-regulate-blogspot.com   I heartily endodrse your plea for an INDEPENDENT  Health Quality Council (HQC).  This is essential.  How can the present HQCA function to get the best health care for Albertans when it receives its 'Orders' from the Minister of Health, when the Premier (Stelmach) and his three ministers of Health & Wellness (Gene Zwozdesky, Ron Liepert, Dave Hancock) are guilty of severe proven wrongdoing within the Albert Health Care System? Please give me the courtesy of acknowledging receipt of this letter that was personally delivered by me to your Edmonton Campaign Office today.  This letter will be posted to my Blog Site in the near future'.

I have reveived no acknowledgment of receipt of my letter of Sept 26/11 addressed as URGENT to Alison Redford and delivered by me to the Edmonton Campaign Office to Alison Redford shortly before her expected arrival to this office on Sept. 26/11.

I would suggest that you review Alison Redford's Web Site (www.alisonredford.ca) on her stand on AN INDEPENDENT HEALTH QUALITY COUNCIL (HQC) for Albertans and her strong stand on the need for an OPEN PUBLIC JUDICIAL INQUIRY into the ills that plague the Alberta Health Care System. My proof of wrongdoing of Medical Doctors within the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta and the Health Quality Council of Alberta as well as the proven wrongdoing of three Ministers of Health and Wellness in the Stelmach Cabinet, further stengthens Alison Redford's above stand for the need of an Independent HQC and a Judicial Inquiry.

All Albertans should be informed of this serious wrongdoing in their Health Care System and the proposed action to correct this wrongdoing.  ALBERTANS REQUIRE ACTION FROM THE EDITORIAL STAFF OF THE EDMONTON JOURNAL to publish this information for Albertans before the new Premier of Alberta is 'crowned' 0n ) October 1, 2011.

As of today none of the six candidates competing  for leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party of Alberta (which was won by Alison Redford) has had the courage or courtesy to acknowledge receipt of multiple Registered Letters sent to them detailing WRONGDOING WITHIN THE ALBERTA MEDICARE SYSTEM:

THESE CANDIDATES WERE:

1. Alison Redford - Elected Leader of P.C. Party of Alberta.
2. Gary Mar - Minister of Health in Ralph Klein Government.
3. Doug Horner - Deputy Premier to Premier Ed Stelmach.
4. Ted Morton - Minister of Finance in Stelmach Government.
5. Rick  Orman -  Cabinet Minister in previous Alberta Government.
6. Doug Griffiths - Current MLA in Alberta Legislative Assembly.


Non of these six persons will acknowledge PROVEN WRONGDOING WITHIN THE ALBERTA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.
Why would Alison Redford appoint Hon. Dave Hancock to be her House Leader in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta when he has shown severe wrongdoing while serving as Minister of Health & Wellness in the Stelmach Government (Reference: The Anderson Journal on the Hon. Dave Hancock

Dr. D. Anderson has received no reply from Lucinda Chodan from his email of Sept. 27, 2011.


Albertans must insist that Hon. Alison Redford fulfills her promises to:
1. Create an INDEPENDENT Health Quality Council.
2. Call for a PUBLIC JUDICIAL INQUIRY into the ills of the Alberta Health Care System.
