BIG SHIP IS FOGBOUND - SAD STORY
(PARODY ON ALBERTA HEALTH CARE)
The Big Ship AHC was built many years ago and has navigated through smooth and rough waters successfully under many captains (Manning, Lougheed, Getty, Klein).
But alas, this successful navigation ended when captain STELMACH took the helm. He entered a fog bank and his rudder broke. He and his next two first mates (Hancock and Liepert) were unable to find their way.
Then alas, a new captain appeared (REDFORD) with her newly selected first mate (Zwozdesky).
Unfortunately, their navigation showed no improvement in getting out or the fog and she found another first mate (Horne) to try and save this fogbound Big Ship AHC.
Unfortunately, the Big Ship AHC is still enveloped in fog with captain Redford at the helm, assisted by her first mate Horne. They are unable to find a course to lead them to a clearly defined destination.
How can this ship get out of the fog?
HOW CAN BIG SHIP AHC GET OUT OF THE FOG?
This big ship must find a competent captain and first mate to guide it safely to a clearly defined destination. It must repair its rudder by exposing the wrongdoing of the crew who broke the rudder. This exposure is necessary in order to repair the rudder.
BUNGLES IN ALBERTA HEALTH CARE BY "HON? CAPTAIN" ALISON REDFORD
Alison Redford bungles have been huge and frequent. Two of her most dramatic bungles have been:
1. Authorizing her first mate, Health Minister Horne, to fire all 10 board members of the Alberta Health Services in June 2013. She broke several legal contracts and created an expensive legal mess to be paid for by Alberta Tax Payers.
2. In September 2013, she authorized first mate Horne to undertake another health authority executive shakeup by ordering the agency to drastically cut its vice-presidents ranks, dismiss five top executives (who leave with a shared $2.1 million in severance) and refine its entire health management structure.
These bungles show complete lack of direction for the Great Ship AHC.
Is "Hon? Captain" Redford at the helm or is she having a snooze below deck?
Albertans ask captain Redford - what is the present course setting? What is our destination?

COUNTDOWN TO ALISON REDFORD LEADERSHIP REVIEW
It is now just 22 days before the Alberta Tory Caucus decides the fate of disgraced Alison Redford.
Chaldeans Mensah (MacEwan University political scientist) reported in The Canadian Press on Oct. 16, 2013 - Mensah said he believes Redford needs to receive the support of at least 70 to 80 per cent of the delegates - "Anything below 70 per cent is a disaster - its a vote of non-confidence".
Alison Redford has proven her dishonesty. Albertans have lost trust in her.
In her Throne Speech of May 24, 2012 she states - "Your Government will promote trustworthy leadership that genuinely takes Albertans to heart, and establishes openness & transparency as guiding principles. Albertans will be able to see with depth and clarity how government works for them".
Alison Redford can not be trusted - her promises mean nothing!
This premier has stonewalled Albertans for years and refuses to even acknowledge receipt of numerous Registered Letters sent to her over the past five years, from Douglas L. Anderson, MD., FRCS(C) concerning Patient Neglect, Needless Suffering and Risk of Patient Death.
To lie in her Throne Speech is an insult to our head of state - Queen Elizabeth.
First and foremost, Albertans require honesty in a leader.
This premier is fast "running out of time" to communicate with Albertans and make good her promises.
